Embedding

An embedding is a numerical representation of discrete items, such as words, in a continuous vector space. This allows algorithms to process complex data types like text or images by converting them into a form they can manipulate mathematically. For example, word embeddings enable semantic understanding, where words with similar meanings are placed closer together in the vector space. Word2Vec and GloVe are popular methods for creating such embeddings.
