Document Store

A Document Store is a type of storage system where data is stored in documents, typically in formats like JSON, BSON, or XML. Unlike traditional databases which store information in rows and columns, document stores enable storing varied data models, accommodating complex and non-uniform data. For example, MongoDB and CouchDB are popular document stores. They allow for flexible schemas, making them ideal for applications with evolving data structures.
