Agentic AI

Agentic AI refers to systems designed to operate with a degree of independence, making decisions based on the environment, goals, or data they process. These systems are often deployed for tasks that require ongoing decision making, such as autonomous vehicles or personal digital assistants. Unlike purely reactive systems, agentic AI anticipates needs, plans actions, and adapts to changes, often integrating aspects of reinforcement learning or planning algorithms.
